Taking contactless card payments with your phone is now possible thanks to Tap to Pay. Enabled by Zeller App, this cutting-edge technology allows you to use your smartphone – iPhone or Android – like an EFTPOS machine. Simply key in the amount to be charged to your customer, hold out your smartphone, and let them tap their card or their mobile wallet to the device. Tap to Pay payments are processed instantly and securely. Not only does Tap to Pay remove the initial outlay of an EFTPOS machine for many small businesses, but it also provides a much more convenient payment option for mobile businesses.

Tap to Pay Technology Built for Both iPhones & Android Devices

For merchants using Tap to Pay on Android, the feature is currently supported on Android 10 phones or later versions with inbuilt NFC technology. Tap to Pay on iPhone is available to all users with an iPhone XS or later, using iOS 16.4 or later. To get started, simply download the Zeller App on your smartphone, and follow the steps to configure your device. Once configured, you can start accepting EFTPOS payments immediately. Tap to Pay with Zeller App incurs one low flat transaction fee of 1.4% for all cards, (including American Express) or you can choose to pass on the fee to your customer through surcharging.
